May 1st 2012, marks the one year anniversary of the launch of CILQUE’s online boutique. When we started to offer our products online we made many new friends and customers. It was an exciting year and though we don’t want to boast here are a few of the most memorable moments:
1. POPPING UP AT THE TORONTO INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL.
CILQUE was a hit with both the international press and the celebrities at TIFF. Various fashion magazines and news outlets chose the CILQUE eye masks and pillowcases as their “top picks”. Particularly, Arlene Dickinson, judge on the Dragons Den, was a fan of the CILQUE pillowcases and so was Yahoo news, check out their article here.
2. MACLEANS MAGAZINE WRITE UP.
Just months after launching the website, we were contacted by writer Cathy Gulli, who did a write up on us and explained the CILQUE story to Maclean’s 330,200 subscribers, which helped us breakthrough into the Canadian marketplace. Article can be read here.
3. EXPANDING THE CILQUE PRODUCT LINE.
In the past year we have added eye masks, a highly sought after kimono, and duvet covers (which are constantly sold out) in the collection.
4. SELLING ACROSS CANADA.
From May 1 2011 – May 1 2012, we have discretely fulfilled orders from our website in every single province across Canada, including both of the Canadian territories. We have many repeat and referred customers, and people have been very satisfied with their purchase and service that is provided.
As CILQUE goes into its second year of business, we want to thank all of our customers, friends, and affiliates who have supported us in our journey. The goal of CILQUE is to be Canada’s destination boudoir brand and offer luxurious products and exceptional service to our customers.
